Have you ever been told you should start a blog, but weren’t sure where to start? We’ve got two evening classes designed just to help you get started and make your blog truly great. In Blogging for Business I, you’ll learn the basics of blogging: how to find your voice, engage your audience, and understand the metrics. In our second night, in Blogging for Business II, you’ll learn how to set up your WordPress site and how to use it, as well as how to use social media to not only grow your site but engage your community.
Courses will be held from 6 – 9pm, September 18th & 20th respectively, and taught by two Chicago bloggers who are very familiar with this industry.
Paige Worthy has been writing professionally since 2005, and has clearly defined her voice. Beyond managing her own brand, she’s now freelancing with many companies in various industries.
Jennifer Beese has been everything from a writer to a community manager for everything from tech blogs to the world’s largest community of personal bloggers (managing nearly 20,000 members). She is currently the editor at Sprout Social and Tech.li.
