Courses
ActionScript Basic Training
To achieve full interactivity in Adobe Flash, you need ActionScript. If you have taken the Flash 8-Week Bootcamp or have at least three Flash courses under your belt, you're ready for this action-packed six hour look at ActionScript 3. Within the first hour minutes, you'll be writing code and watching cool things happen on your screen. A series of mini assignments will lead up to a final assignment at day's end.
ActionScript Bootcamp
With significant Flash seasoning under your belt, you're ready to break into the stratosphere of Flash developers. The ActionScript 8-Week Bootcamp is the proverbial "shot across the bow" in the battle to master this important language. Unlike most other programming courses, this course is just as much about creating a stunning visual presentation as popping out pristine code. This course is only for those who are already Advanced Flash users.
ActionScript Level II
Every move the user makes is something you can take advantage of. From the click of a mouse to the ordered-entry of data, "events" are the heart of interactivity. You'll be listening for events, creating timers, pulling data, and dispatching content. And ultimately you'll be getting this much closer to full interaction with your users.
ActionScript Level III
Words, words, words. And sound. These are the keys to the mind and this advanced ActionScript course will teach you how to use them. You'll create user input fields and call up HTML and CSS for full control. You'll also learn the basics of digital audio and how to manipulate playback. You'll also learn the basics of the important FLV Video Format.
Flash Basic Training
It's rare to find a fully-functioning website lacking in any Flash content these days. So jump on in and join the fun. You'll learn what elements make up Flash content and how to get files into the timeline for animation madness. Use the toolbar to create text and objects and then populate your library with all the necessary assets from Photoshop, Illustrator or Flash itself. By the end of the 6-hour day you'll be surprised at how much you can do.
Flash Level II
In order to keep your files web-friendly, you'll want to learn all about Flash's vector tools. You'll learn how to create all the art you need directly in Flash using its sophisticated drawing and editing tools. Layers serve a number of functions in Flash and you'll be utilizing them to their fullest potential by the end of the day. You'll also learn about color and how to create "scenes" for your content.
Flash Level III
Animation and navigation, the two cornerstones of Flash development. Learn how animations are developed in Flash using the timeline, tweens, and keyframes. Then create two different styles of dazzling website navigation.
