Courses
Android App Development
Android is an open source platform for mobile computing. In our 4-week, 8-session Bootcamp, learn to develop Android Applications using familiar Java and Eclipse tools. This course teaches students the architecture, API and techniques to create robust, high performance and appealing applications for the Android devices. While many classes rely on the textbook and powerpoint to teach, our instructors are real-world Android developers and use real-life, pragmatic lessons to teach development for Android devices.
Designing for Mobile
Designing for mobile is not simply a case of web design done small. It's about overcoming the challenges of the smaller pixel count while maintaining the robustness of the utility. This six-hour course is specific to designing for smart phones and tablets. This class is geared toward iOS mobile platforms but will also briefly address issues specifically for Android and Blackberry platforms.
iOS Development
Have you been told that you need to "learn iPhone" to stay relevant in today's marketplace, but have no experience in iOS at all? This four week class will take you from a neophyte to a developer, as you learn hands on and create some beginning apps that you can customize to include as part of your portfolio. A background in coding will be helpful, as will experience with any of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, or any object-oriented principles.
