After Effects Basic Training
It's quickly becoming apparent that life without After Effects is like life without Photoshop. This six-hour course is the gateway to all that moves. Students will gain hands-on experience with the interface and basic animation techniques, as well as learn all about optimizing their computer for full-throttle graphics control.
After Effects Level II
It's like Photoshop for film and video! With the basics of timeline navigation and animation under your belt, it's time to start getting into some serious keyframing and layer compositing. You'll discover the numerous types of layers and how to control their interaction. Physics will bend to your will as you manipulate the Graphic Editor. Then you'll send it all home with a bag full of rendering tips.
After Effects Level III
It wouldn't be After Effects without the effects! This six-hour course initiates you into the wide world of experimenting with effects. You'll learn about the trusty old standbys and confront the complicated newcomers. You'll color correct some footage and randomize some text. In short, you'll be creating rock-and-roll motion graphics by the time you leave the room.
Final Cut Pro Basic Training
You've got the footage, but iMovie just can't handle it, right? That's where Final Cut Pro comes in, choice of professionals in both Hollywood and the rest of the world. Spend some quality time getting to know the complex interface and how to capture your footage. Then learn the ins-and-outs of non-linear editing. You'll be creating quality montage by the end of the day.
Final Cut Pro Level II
Sound will make or break your film and Final Cut Pro will give you plenty of opportunity to make it right. From the internal controls in FCP to the more advanced gear in the Suite, you will learn how to dial it in at the right levels and splice things together seamlessly. You'll also spend some time learning FCP's compositing tools and how to make your FCP files work with AfterEffects.
Final Cut Pro Level III
Final Cut Pro does much more than mere video and sound editing. Create animated titles with LiveType and other motion graphics tools included with Final Cut Pro. Work with LiveType to quickly add life to your text. Add filters to footage to correct it or just add some much needed color. Then, knock out backgrounds with the included chromakey tools.
